To create long-term change by harnessing the power of nonprofits, government, corporations, and thousands of individuals to work together and solve the most difficult problems we face as a community.
We envision an inclusive community where all people achieve their human potential through education, financial stability, and healthy lives.
We work to change systems. And we know, in order to transform communities, we must think beyond individual programs or services. To see ourselves as a united system, working together to create more equitable outcomes for children and families.
As leaders of some of Utah’s most influential systems, the members of the Promise Partnership Regional Council (PPRC) are committed to collective impact. They act as the Promise Partnership's governing board, bringing in their expertise to guide how we create systems change in our community. Together, we are pursuing lasting social change on some of our community’s toughest challenges: poverty, poor health, and inequitable educational achievement.
PPRC MembersVolunteers can create meaningful change for kids and families in their communities. United Way of Salt Lake & the Promise Partnership mobilize volunteers in areas that align with our core outcome areas and ensure that children receive the support they need to succeed in school. Our opportunities range from one-time events to ongoing opportunities as classroom support, mentors and tutors, in-kind donors, and committee members.
Learn MoreIn September 2022, the Promise Partnership was designated as a "Systems Transformation" community by StriveTogether. This recognition acknowledges that our work is creating lasting change to support economic mobility for children and families across the Wasatch Front.
We are proud and honored to be nationally recognized for our Collective Impact work.
